DRONE COURSES
Example courses from the AKADEMİ, CODE and PİLOT tracks. This curriculum is taught in classrooms today; online portal access is coming soon. The titles below preview the journey ahead.
INTRO LESSONS
Watch two lessons here before the portal launches — see the level and teaching style of the content.
Introduction to Aviation
How does a quadcopter stay in the air? Propellers, thrust and balance — plus aviation culture and the ground rules of safe flight.
Drone Anatomy & Sensors
What does a flight controller actually do? Meet the IMU, barometer and compass, and learn how the drone senses the world.
First Flight Code with Blockly
Write your first flight program with drag-and-drop blocks; test it in simulation first, then run it on the real drone.
Autonomous Missions in Python
Graduate from blocks to Python: read sensor data, build conditional maneuvers, and design your own autonomous mission.
Pilot Fundamentals
Controlled flight with virtual joysticks: takeoff, landing, position hold and emergency procedures.
Object Tracking with the Camera
Image processing with the VISION kit's 2 MP camera: detect an object, fly a tracking mission, and take your first step into AI. (Requires the VISION kit.)
COURSE FORMATS
The program runs in three formats, fitted to your institution's calendar.
Term program
12 weeks · 1 lesson/week
The core program across one school term: aviation, block coding and first autonomous missions with the CORE kit.
Full-year program
32 weeks · 2 terms
The full path: term one builds foundations with CORE, term two moves into computer vision and Python with VISION.
Holiday camps
Summer 4 weeks · Winter 1 week
Intensive workshop format: flying every day, a mini demo flight at the end of the week.
Week counts and content are planned together around your institution's schedule.
