SCHOOL DRONE PROGRAM

Middle school drone education: kits, curriculum and teacher training in one

RobonHub is a ready-made drone education program for middle and high schools: CORE and VISION education drone kits come with weekly lesson plans, assessment rubrics and teacher training. It runs as a 12-week term, a 32-week year-long program or a holiday camp; students learn aviation basics, block coding, Python and autonomous missions on a real drone.

Program formats

Week counts and content are planned together with the school around its timetable.

  • Term program — 12 weeks, 1 lesson a week: aviation, block coding and first autonomous missions with CORE
  • Year-long program — 32 weeks, 2 terms: CORE fundamentals first, then image processing and Python with VISION
  • Holiday camps — 4 weeks in summer, 1 in winter: flying every day, mini demo at the end

What's ready for the teacher?

Teachers don't need to be drone experts. Lesson flow, materials and assessment come ready, and we do the setup together in the first workshop.

  • Weekly, print-ready lesson plans with learning outcomes
  • Process-focused assessment rubrics
  • Remote or on-site teacher training and classroom-management workshop
  • Spare-parts pack and technical support line

What's in the curriculum?

Three modules: AKADEMİ (aviation culture, flight physics, drone anatomy and sensors), CODE (Blockly to Python, autonomous missions) and PİLOT (from simulation to real flight, safe piloting). High school students can go further with Python, telemetry analysis and mission planning.

Who we work with

Our program reaches 30+ campuses in Türkiye. Training has been completed at Lider Eğitim, ERA Koleji and İstanbul Üsküdar Lisesi, and projects with Gürsu and Yıldırım municipalities have been approved.

Frequently asked

Through weekly lessons: aviation and safe flight first, then drone parts and sensors, then autonomous missions with block coding. Every group tests its code on a real drone.

It depends on class size and format; usually small groups share a drone. We plan it together in the first call.

Coding runs in the browser; real flights need a computer with a small companion app. Existing school computers are usually enough.
